In Germany in the 1990s, there were several American congregations in my mission. I spent half of my mission serving in both American and German wards at the same time. It was wonderful! In my second city, we were teaching an American family who had 11-year-old twin boys Alex and Dennis. We had been teaching them for a while and couldn't get past their hesitation to be baptized. We couldn't figure out what it was. One evening we were teaching them, and Alex saw the baptism picture in the flip charts. He picked it up and studied it while the rest of us talked. Then he turned and asked earnestly, "Is this how we'll be baptized?" Oh!! Heart melted!! Why YES Alex! Yes, it is!
